LET THE REDEEMED SAY:
Though the night may seem so dark and the day is so dull. even hope seems to be hopeful. As my situation seem be rid off a solution, still I shall see beyond my sight and feel beyond my touch. I will hope against hope and I'm gonna keep saying it and I won't stop talking it. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.
      It may take so much effort to wear a smile on my face and even more to rid off my fear for the race. It may be a long way to my dream place, but on this dark day I will keep walking for though I may not yet be there, I'm sure of where I used to be. For in the midst of this dark night my star will shine so bright that the sun will envy. That even though the day may delay, I'm gonna keep saying it and I won't stop talking it. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.
And so I may be so called up in the shell of shame and my future trampled upon by my ancient history of pain and even my name I fear to bear, for it carries along with it great responsibility and deep despair, but as the word of my spirit resound, my faith is made more profound, my will is toughen, that though the night tarries, joy comes in the morning. So like the dust, you may beat me beneath your feet as you want but indeed like the dust, the harder you beat me, the higher I shall rise. Cos I'm gonna keep saying it and I won't stop talking it. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.
         May all the witness this day as I say weep not for my present travail, that not on that the ship of my destiny shall set sail, for I am a seed of promise, a child of destiny watered by the WORD that gives life to the dead. No Tyrone of circumstance can hold the determined WILL for too long, for I look to the heaven from where comes my help. Where do I see the hills of faith that bid me to take my place among them in the hall of faith where the brave will live forever. So with this INSIGHT, I'm gonna keep saying it and I won't stop talking it. And to all my friends this thus I sound, be careful how you read me less you misread me, for I have long been wind from timidity, now beyond the terrors of the night and the shadows of my fear, I see a day beautifully clear. For the turbulence of the sea shall no longer move me to reign but with quietness and courage, I shall still the storm, I may be quiet but I shall not be timid, I may be respectful but I shall not be afraid, I may be pressured on very side, but I shall not be overwhelmed I may be content but make no mistakes about it I am not yet satisfied. It may seem like I've lost the battle, but brethren I shall surely win the war. Cos I'm gonna keep saying it and I won't stop talking it. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.
             Where on does my faith stands that He was born to die that death may be defeated, now with Him I have risen above the bleakness of my past, for though I have been in the mighty clay, now on the solid rock I shall stand, for He has caused me to laugh the day I mourned. Now I shall no longer walk on naked foot, but as a Prince I shall ride on horses, for this fine day, when I shall move beyond the rage of my claims. And high up in the sky I shall fly. Cos I'm gonna keep saying it and I won't stop talking it. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL. AMEN.

I know my God

I know my God! That's a bold, almost arrogant statement, but it's true. I do.

The scrolls tell us that when a man knows his God, he is strong and will do extra-ordinary things.
So what happens to the man who does not know His God? Who has no knowledge of authorities greater than him nor the influences at work in and around him everyday?
That man is weak, tossed to and from by every wind of life. He drifts and never accomplishes much.

Even when seeming success comes his way, he cannot appreciate or understand it. He is hollow, empty and unfulfilled.

So how do you know your God?

When you stare into the abyss the abyss is actually staring into you.
It's a quote i picked up somewhere. In the same vein, when you are seeking God, it is because God is seeking you.

God knows you. You accept that fact. You let it sink. you take the next step.

God loves you. You go past all the lies told to you about God and about you and come to the knowledge of the truth. God loves me!

And then, it comes to you. You have known him all along. He is in you and you are in him. You live and move and have your existence in him.

So now, like me, it comes to you.

Do you know God? Here is a question I ask many Christians. Many a times people think they know God, but the truth of the matter is that they don't even have an idea about who God is. Listen to this "GOD IS NOT WHO YOU THINK HE IS, HE IS SIMPLY WHO HE IS. DON MOEN sang a song tittle Be Magnified. He said something while he was about singing that song somewhere. He said God can't be magnified more than what he is, but he said in our minds HE can be made bigger i.e. magnified, when you think you know all about Him, He reveal to you that you have just stated knowing Him.
